This is C.J., a male Staffordshire Terrier/Bull Terrier mix. C.J. is brindle and white. . CJ is less than a year old and not neutered. He is excellent around children (in a home that has about 9 children at any given time running around him) and good with other animals so long as they are not other male dogs (this is likely due to him not being neutered) He has had all his vaccines and is house broken. C.J. is in Sulphur, OK, but transport is available throughout the state or up to 300 miles. If you are interested in adopting or fostering C.J., call 580.622.6266 or 580.618.3204

C.J. was adopted January 2012 and did not go into the shelter.

My name is Beauty and my brother, Beast, and I were taken in to custody due to being tied up at an abandoned trailer, no food or water (other than what the neighbors gave us).... Beast could get off his chain but I couldn't.... I am a REAL big sweetheart and I desperately need a home...please call Sulphur at 580-622-6266 or 618-3204.

My name is Beast and I am Beauty's brother.... I'm a love bug too. So if you would like a big strong ball of energy and loving running around your home... I'm your boy! The shelter we're in is really small and all the cages are full so the humans here are getting really worried about it. If I get adopted they might not be so worried? Call them at 580-622-6266

These two dogs were not adopted or fostered. They were euthanized 12/09/2011 due to lack of space at the shelter.

Patches, J.R., C.J., and Thorn all need homes.(click on photo for larger image)

Patches is an 8 year old male American Bulldog. He is a laid back, gentle soul. He was surrendered because his owner works in another city and is rarely home. Patches is a big baby and is good around kids and cats. J.R. is a male Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, less than one year old and is a good boy. He is kind of shy and scared in the shelter. C.J. is a young, male beagle/bassett hound mix. C.J. was picked up on a busy street in Sulphur, OK. Thorn is a young male heeler/shepherd mix who was surrendered with three other dogs because the owners "didn't have time" for them. These wonderful pets are NOT in a no-kill shelter and their times are limited due to lack of space. If you can find it in your heart to give one of them a loving, forever home, call Amanda at 580.622.6266 or the Sulphur ACO at 580. 618. 3204. Transport is available in the state of Oklahoma or up to 300 miles from Sulphur, OK.

01/23/2012- Okay, about these guys. C.J. found a wonderful home and is a happy dog. Thorn was delivered to his new family by me, personally. He is living large. J.R. had a prospective foster who backed out after meeting him. I vowed to not let him return to the 'shelter' (dog pound) and committed to foster him and pay for his full vetting.
