Patches, J.R., C.J., and Thorn all need homes.(click on photo for larger image)

Patches is an 8 year old male American Bulldog. He is a laid back, gentle soul. He was surrendered because his owner works in another city and is rarely home. Patches is a big baby and is good around kids and cats. J.R. is a male Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, less than one year old and is a good boy. He is kind of shy and scared in the shelter. C.J. is a young, male beagle/bassett hound mix. C.J. was picked up on a busy street in Sulphur, OK. Thorn is a young male heeler/shepherd mix who was surrendered with three other dogs because the owners "didn't have time" for them. These wonderful pets are NOT in a no-kill shelter and their times are limited due to lack of space. If you can find it in your heart to give one of them a loving, forever home, call Amanda at 580.622.6266 or the Sulphur ACO at 580. 618. 3204. Transport is available in the state of Oklahoma or up to 300 miles from Sulphur, OK.

01/23/2012- Okay, about these guys. C.J. found a wonderful home and is a happy dog. Thorn was delivered to his new family by me, personally. He is living large. J.R. had a prospective foster who backed out after meeting him. I vowed to not let him return to the 'shelter' (dog pound) and committed to foster him and pay for his full vetting.

I adopted "Jr" and Patches. I couldn't let them die.
